A visual record of attention.
Photography is the part of my practice that begins before argument. These images attend to structure, weather, distance, surface, and the temporary arrangements by which a subject becomes visible.

SERIES 03 · PHILADELPHIA · DAWN
Philadelphia, Dawn
Logan Square and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway · August 8, 2026
Eighteen photographs made between 6:14 and 6:39 a.m. move through fountain, monument, stone, bronze, water, vegetation, and the changing scale of a civic landscape as morning becomes public. Six studies form the entrance below; the complete sequence remains in capture order.

SERIES 04 · PHILADELPHIA · CIVIC FORM
Philadelphia, Civic Form
Philadelphia · August 8, 2026
Twelve photographs move through civic architecture, memorial bodies, vacant streets, skyline, modern sculpture, planted infrastructure, and water. Six studies form the entrance below; the complete edit follows a visual argument from dawn into the public city rather than strict capture order.

RECENT PHOTOGRAPHS · AUGUST 1, 2026
Fifteen studies in sequence.
Fifteen photographs made August 1, 2026, presented in capture order.

SERIES 01 · BOTANICAL STUDIES
Structures for light, water, survival, and display.
Chicago Botanic Garden · Glencoe, Illinois · July 25, 2026
Plants appear here as architectures rather than ornaments: folded surfaces, defensive edges, reservoirs, repetitions, and forms that solve several biological and visual problems at once. The eight photographs below form a representative path through the complete eighteen-image sequence.

SERIES 02 · PLACE
Puerto Rico, Overnight
Puerto Rico · July 16–17, 2026
Twenty-four photographs made during a brief visit. This is not a comprehensive portrait of Puerto Rico. It is a record of first contact and partial knowledge: civic surfaces, roads, thresholds, weather, vegetation, movement, distance, and the pressure of leaving. The eight photographs below preserve the sequence’s vertical rhythm and its single horizontal interruption.

THE SERIES
The entrance is selective; each series keeps its full sequence.
These pages begin with representative edits. The complete series preserve date, location, and editorial sequence. Source-asset metadata—such as capture time and file provenance—is tracked separately from editorial order, captions, and alt text. Reusing the same photograph on another page creates a new editorial manifestation, not a new photograph automatically.
